Answer: We don’t know. I’m tired of people assuming that we can have even the slightest idea of what happens as the temperature increases at the rate it’s supposedly increasing. There are countless deeply connected and complex feedback loops that result in a more or less homeostatic climate condition on earth. The danger in climate change is that it effects these loops and sends them spiralling out of control or kills them into oblivion. When this will happen? Nobody knows. Will it even happen? Nobody knows. Is there a specific temperature increase, like 3 degrees for example, that means anything more than any other increase in global temperature. No. Mother Earth is far too complex of a system to have the slightest clue what is going to happen, if anything. In fact the danger in this whole situation is exactly that, we don’t know what is going to happen. So stop using absolute language as if we know anything factual because nobody understands what’s going to happen let alone you and your trash click bait post.
